Pedestrians gangways

Glissières Tertu






Tertu pedestrian gangways consist of a steel structure with wooden cladding for long spans (9 m and more)
or structure of large logs
(diameter 280 cm) for shorter spans (up to 9 m).


Designed for an operating load of 450Kg/m², they always come with their calculations booklet.

Their guardrails with vertical bars comply with the standards concerning children (11 cm between the bars).

They are supplied assembled when passage width and length do not exceed 2.12 m and 12m respectively.

In other cases, they are assembled on site by Tertu's partner contractors.

Standards


Tertu gangways and bridges comply with the standards in force.

They pass the loading tests, in accordance with fascicule 61 of the CCTG (design, calculations and structural testing), with guaranteed compliance.

The design notes are based on the following DDE (French Road & Infrastructures Administration) fascicule:
- CB 71 (design rules for wooden frameworks)

-  CB 61 (design and calculation of bridges
and steel structures).
