The A64 motorway is the major road in North-West of England.
It links the cities of Leeds to the Scarobough on the shore.
To improve the safety on a section of this route, Tertu TM18 crash-barrier has been selected for its performance & aesthetical values.

Close to the city of York approximately 650 linear meters of TM18 4m (N2-W5) have been recently implanted to secure the nearside verges between Barton Hill crossroads and Castle Howard Station Road / Greets House Lane.
Like the whole range of Tertu’s safety barriers, the TM18 has been crash-tested and CE certified. It also benefits from all the advantages of the wood for the environment (carbon dioxide stockage; natural appearance of the Douglas fir… )
